Mac, once again Tate was the best host imaginable. Michael and I had an absolute blast! Michael took a Corsican Ram that Tate said may make silver are Gold in the Exotics record book. He said that once the taxidermist gets back with us with measurements that he will call you and I would love to get it in the books for Michael. Thanks for everything once again.By the way since younger brother beat older brother in Ram size I’m sure we will be back to get Bobby another animal.
By the way I took a Russian Boar that is just tremendous.

What you need to know is this, I am from Illinois. I have hunted all my life for Whitetail with a bow. Hunting with a bow is the only way I will take an animal. I hunted with Tate and had a great time; great man to hang around with. His wife, she puts on a great meal. Land is beautiful, great animals, and sleeping quarters are great. We hunted Elk while we were there and I harvested a huge 6 by 7 Elk, with my bow. At one time Tate set us up on the bottom of a burm where we got 10 yards away from him; was cool and bad at the same time. Too close for the shot. All I can say is this place is as good as it looks on his web site so do not pass them up.Call any time to talk

My wife & I were at Trophy Haven October 25 & 26 & 27, 2006. When I was in Baghdad as a Military Policeman with the Army it was my dream to go on an elk hunt. I have hunted whitetail deer all my life in the Ozark Mountains and I have always wanted to go elk hunting and to get a trophy class animal. Trophy Haven absolutely made this dream come true with their outstanding operation in trophy class elk and many other game animals. I would recommend Trophy Haven to anyone who wants a truly first class hunting opportunity. The food was great, the lodging was outstanding and Nate and Sandra were great people. We hope to return there soon to get our son a trophy class animal.Again, thank you for running a world class trophy hunting operation!

Just want to say thank you to Mac and Tate and Dave for a beautiful hunt. I enjoyed the time I was there for my vacation I loved the woods very much and it helped me let go of a lot of things I had on my chest. Thank you so much for this wonderful vacation that we won at the WI Deer and Turkey Expo. We never thought we would win this hunt for our son, Adam who is cognitively disabled. He loves to hunt. This was his dream vacation. Tate was the greatest guide anyone could ask for. He was very patient and understanding. He gave Adam a great deal of pointers as to how to improve on his hunting ability and on equipment. We never thought we would be allowed to go out and observe the hunt. What a thrill. Trophy Haven is a place we will return to time and time again. See you in October.

Mac, I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know what a FANTANSTIC hunt my sons and I had with Tate.It was my son’s first chance to take an animal and he was a little nervous about making a good shot but Tate was great about the whole thing. My son took a beautiful Ram that he is extremely proud of and that’s the most important thing. I would highly recommend your establishment to any one looking to hunt a beautiful animal. Every animal we saw and we saw a lot was absolutely healthy and in overall great shape. I would also like to bring up the subject of a high fence hunt. I had quite a few friends and relatives say that that type of hunt is not sporting I could not disagree more strongly. We got on these rams on a number of occasions and before we could get set up either one of the ewe would see us or the wind would change directions and they would be off on a dead run. I can honestly say we hunted hard for my son’s trophy and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I would be more than happy to give my testimonial to any one that would want to call or e-mail me. Mac you have a son that you can definitely be proud of, he was a great teacher to my two son’s about the ethics of hunting and let them know how important it was to take their time and to be sure they made a humane kill.

Just wanted to write you to say what a great time I had at your ranch on my buffalo hunt. The facilities and hunting were first rate. Tate did an excellent job guiding me, and is very knowledgeable about the animals and what it takes to guide a handgun hunter. I am looking forward to coming back to Trophy Haven in the near future.

What a great time we had at Trophy Haven. We had a dynamite bore hunt. My brother stalked his bore for a good 20 minutes before he finally took it. I will have a beautiful Corsican Ram mount on my wall. We had an exciting time. Tate and Mac, thanks for the work that you put in for us.
I will remember the hunt but also remember the great conversation I had well into the night with Mac. We hit every topic, hunting and guns to whatever came up. Thanks Mac, that was a good time.

“We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank you, Tate, you’re respective families, and guide Jack for providing us the opportunity for another great week of hunting at Trophy Haven. So let’s review. In the last 3 years at the “Haven” we have harvested 12 animals; 4 Fallow bucks, 3 wild sheep (Corsican, Texas Dall and Black Hawaiian), a Red Stag, Sika buck, Blackbuck cow elk and Russian Boar. Laura would want your lady hunters out there to know, that while this is not a competition and no one is really keeping score, she is smoking’ her husband 8 animals to 4. To add insult to injury, she has harvested all her trophies with her little ‘Hoyt Banshee’ set about 45 pounds.We have been enjoying some fantastic meat and absolutely astounded a group of our friends recently (a majority of whom do not normally eat wild game) with “out-of -this-World” Red Stag back straps and tenderloins. Some of the best meat I have ever eaten!! We would also like to recommend the Fallow and Blackbuck, and don’t forget how good the wild bar and elk is too.”
